What about the buyer’s agent commission?

The 2%* covers the listing side only. In most sales, sellers also offer a buyer’s agent commission (up to 3%) to incentivize buyer agents to show your home—commissions are not set by law and are always negotiable. We strongly recommend a minimum of 2.5% buyer’s agent compensation to ensure maximum exposure. This is separate from our 2%* listing fee. If we bring the buyer and represent that buyer as well, the buyer’s agent commission can be reduced to 2%. In that case (transaction agent for both sides), your total would be the listing fee of 2%* + 2% buyer’s agent compensation.
